ABOUT YVONNE ANTHONY
With an Honours (Cum Laude) qualification in Acting for the Stage, experience in the South African acting film and theatre industries, 17 years of teaching drama at a prestigious private school, and several years of running my own acting studio, End Scene. I have written five public-speaking workbooks that have been used internationally to train children in the art of public speaking. I previously co-owned and operated a business that offered team building, conflict resolution and creative floral workshops for corporate organisations as well as women of all ages and cultural backgrounds.
I am passionate about using the gifts God has given me to speak, perform, and teach publicly.
Whether addressing a small group, a theatre filled with people, or a conference room, I genuinely enjoy the art of engaging a room. I often incorporate poetry, monologues, storytelling, and other forms of performance into my presentations, but my greatest passion is teaching the Word of God in a way that is both uncompromising and, where appropriate, humorous and relatable.
I love taking biblical concepts, teachings, and sound doctrine and presenting them in a way that is accessible, understandable, and faithful to Scripture. I believe teachers carry a significant responsibility before God for what they teach, and I therefore take the privilege of teaching very seriously. Everything I teach is grounded in the Word of God, supported by Scripture, or shared through the power and honesty of personal testimony.
