ABOUT RESTORATION ROAD
Restoration Road offers retreats where women can slow down, step away from everyday noise, and spend meaningful time exploring God’s Word together.
Through teaching, worship, prayer, workshops, and creative experiences, women are encouraged to discover how Scripture speaks into their own lives and deepens their relationship with God.
Set in beautiful surroundings, our retreats create space for good food, meaningful conversations, laughter, and genuine sisterhood.
Our prayer is that every woman leaves feeling refreshed, encouraged, spiritually nourished, and deeply reminded of how loved she is by God - and that what she experiences continues to transform her daily walk with Him.
ABOUT RESTORATION ROAD FACILITATORS
The counselors and teachers who facilitate Restoration Road retreats are carefully chosen for their experience and gifts in God’s Word, ministry, service, and working alongside women.
Facilitators do not attend every retreat. Each team is thoughtfully selected to align with the retreat’s theme, purpose, and planned experiences. Additional facilitators may be invited when their expertise or gifting will enrich the retreat.
The facilitators featured below are those who serve most frequently on our Restoration Road retreats.

Melanie Rossouw
A Christian woman, wife, entrepreneur, coach and speaker, and the founder of Pretty Active - a wellness brand helping women find balance through movement, self-care and community.
Melanie is passionate about helping women embrace a balanced life, where taking care of themselves is not something to feel guilty about, but an honour to be excited about. She believes movement is about more than fitness; it is about feeling strong, confident and present in your everyday life.
God has radically changed Melanie’s life, and she is passionate about sharing His truth with grace, creating spaces where women can be real, connect with one another and be encouraged in their faith, health and purpose. She reminds women that caring for themselves helps them show up fully for others.
Ronell Adelhelm
Ronell Adelhelm is a wife, mother, survivor and passionate storyteller who knows what it means to walk through the valley—and discover that God is there.
After a devastating spinal cord injury in 2009 left her tetraplegic with an incomplete lesion, Ronell had to learn to walk, write and live again. But her story didn’t end with recovery. Through years of physical pain, loss, financial hardship and unexpected challenges, she discovered that God can bring purpose from even the most painful seasons.
With warmth, honesty, humour and an unwavering faith in Jesus, Ronell shares a powerful testimony of hope, resilience and finding purpose in the pain—and reminds us that sometimes God does His greatest work in the valleys.
Adila Klomp
A God-loving and God-fearing human that approaches life from a joyous spiritual perspective. Adila has been in private practice as a psychologist for many years. She values family above all and is also an animal-lover and avid traveller.
The focus of her passion and God given mission is “all-things-family” with women/wives/mothers/daughters as the focus. Adila firmly believes that a fulfilled woman is a better, happier woman. The motto she longs to fully embrace – for herself and others - is: “It is well with my soul . . .”
Yvonne Anthony
A Christian wife, mother, daughter and teacher who has a background in acting, high school teaching and inspirational speaking.
Yvonne longs to create opportunities where women can connect with and experience God, themselves and one another sincerely.
“I like to talk about the real issues facing women in a Postmodern society. With femininity and the role women in our present culture so deeply confused and threatened, I believe that we need God's Word and the Person of His Holy Spirit to heal and restore His girls.”
Miemie Bartel
A passionate follower of Jesus, wife and mother. An inspirational woman who disciples and mentors people in their journey of discovering the many layers of God’s incredible Word with a Hebraic mindset.
“I love the Word and through teaching the Word of God according to Jesus own words in Luke 24:25-27, showing where the bride can find her bridegroom in Scripture. And following Him, learning to walk in the ways that the Father gave Him to declare to His people and restoring our understanding of the Bible.”
Anelda Lochner
Anelda Lochner is described as an author who is a warrior in life, a giver, an analyst and a strategist at heart. As a qualified pharmacist, scholar, business professional, soloist, mother, wife and independent woman, she has lived, loved and lost.
However, Anelda describes herself as a child of God, a follower of Jesus. Her desire is to stand in strong, deep and meaningful relationship with Jesus and to live from a position of doing the will of the Father, rather than her own. Her prayer is to abide in Jesus as He abides in Father, and to live accordingly – a life of humility and simplicity.
